Serkad Hasan Işıkören was born in Famagusta, TRNC in 1979. After completing his primary,
secondary, and high school education in Istanbul, he graduated with honors from the
Department of Archaeology and Art History at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Eastern
Mediterranean University. He completed his master's degree at Girne American University,
Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, Department of Interior Architecture, with a focus on
the interdisciplinary collaboration of visual arts and music and its reflections on education. He
participated in international workshops at Gazi University and Girne American University on
this subject. In 2007, he joined archaeological excavation works conducted by the University
of Balearic Islands on the island of Mallorca, Spain. Between 2014 and 2018, he completed
his Ph.D. program at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Near East University, focusing on
"Exhibition and Information Design Problems in Cyprus Archaeology Museums and Proposal
for Solution for St. Barnabas Archaeology Museum." He is currently serving at the Faculty of
