She was born in Nicosia in 1980. After graduating from Güzelyurt Kurtuluş Lycee in 1997, she graduated
from the European University of Lefke, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture in 2002. In
2003, she started her Master's degree at the Near East University Faculty of Architecture, Department
of Architecture. During her master's degree, she worked as a part-time lecturer in the Department of
Architecture at Near East University. After completing her master's degree in 2006 with her thesis titled
"Climate Factor in Architecture and Principles for Determining the Physical Settlement Density in
Residential Areas Depending on This Factor", she started to work as a full-time lecturer at the
Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture at Near East University and continues to work in
the same position. In 2013, she completed her doctoral thesis titled "Examination of Urban Physical
Design in the Historical Process, Nicosia City Example" at the Faculty of Architecture, Department of
Architecture with high honor, and received her doctorate. She received the title of Assistant Professor in
2018 by fulfilling the Academic Promotion and Appointment criteria. Since the fall semester of 2017-
2018, she has been working as the Double Major Program Coordinator of the Faculty of Architecture
and as the General Coordinator of Double Major Programs since October 2018. After the beginning of
her academic life, she has participated in various organizations such as exhibitions, seminars,
workshops, and conferences, and she has published scientific articles, papers, and research studies on
professional subjects. Her academic interests include urban designs, sustainability, spatial use
requirements, architecture, and spatial livability. She has been serving as an Environmental Consultant
Member within the Association for the Protection of the Old Kyrenia Harbour and its Environment since
2012. She has articles on the physical development processes of the city of Kyrenia. She has been a
member of the Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Architects since 2002.
